The FrenchCreek QuadPod Davit System is rugged and versatile. It is a great alternative to a normal tripod rescue system. Anywhere a tripod system can be used, the Quadpod should be considered. It's 4-legged base provides superior stability. And given it's 54" clearance between each leg, it might also be ideal for setting up at the corner of larger confined space entry points.
